Apple Mince Tart

Apple Mince Tart...a nice dessert recipe ...try this one !

INGREDIENTS
  • 3 tart baking apples, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 cups mincemeat
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 4 teaspoons butter
  • 1/2 cup apricot jam, melted
  • 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C).
In a bowl combine thinly sliced apples with lemon juice; tossing to coat evenly.
Spread mincemeat in unbaked pie shell; arrange the apples on top. Sprinkle with sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Dot with butter.
Bake for 55 to 60 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the apples are tender. Brush with melted apricot jam. The dessert recipe is ready and makes 9 servings. Great taste !

Apple Danish Cheesecake

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup ground almonds
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup cold butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
Filling:
  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1 large egg
Topping:
  • 1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 4 cups thinly sliced peeled tart apples
  • 1/3 cup slivered almonds

INSTRUCTIONS
In a small bowl, combine flour, almonds and sugar; cut in butter until crumbly. Add extract. Shape dough into a ball; place between two sheets of waxed paper. Roll out into a 10-inch circle.
Transfer to a greased 9-inch springform pan; gently press dough against the bottom and up the sides of pan. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar and cream of tartar until smooth. Add egg; beat on low just until combined. Pour over crust.
In a bowl, combine brown sugar, flour and cinnamon. Add apples and stir until coated. Spoon over the filling. Sprinkle with almonds.
Bake at 350*F (175*C) for 40 to 45 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes. Carefully run a knife around edge of pan to loosen; cool 1 hour longer. Refrigerate overnight and remove sides of pan. The dessert recipe of apple cheesecake is ready to serve....enjoy the dessert !

Apple Butterscotch Tart

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 pastry for single-crust pie
  • 5 cups peeled and thinly sliced tart green apples
  • 1 cup NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Butterscotch Flavored Morsels
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup chilled butter or margarine
  • 1 container vanilla ice cream

INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Line 9-inch tart pan with removable bottom with pastry; trim away excess pastry. Arrange apples in pastry shell; sprinkle morsels over apples. Combine flour, sugar and cinnamon in medium bowl. Cut in butter with pastry blender or two knives until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle mixture over filling.
Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until apples are tender when pierced with a sharp knife. Remove side of tart pan. Serve warm with ice cream...and the dessert recipe is ready t0 serve...great taste 1

Apple Brandy Custard Tart

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 (9-inch) pie shell
  • 3 Gala or Golden Delicious apples, peeled, halved, and cored
  • 3/4 cup half-and-half
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon brandy
  • Dash ground nutmeg
INSTRUCTIONS
Heat oven to 425° F. Lightly prick bottom of pie shell with fork; bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Reduce oven heat to 325° F.
Slice apple halves crosswise and partway through into 3/8-inch-thick slices, keeping each half intact on the other side. Arrange sliced halves, slightly fanned out, in prebaked shell.
In medium bowl, combine half-and-half, eggs, sugar, brandy, and nutmeg. Pour over apples and bake 40 minutes or until set. The dessert recipe is ready to serve...

INGREDIENTS
  • Pastry for one-crust (9-inch) pie
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 3 large eggs
  • 4 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 Golden Delicious apples, peeled, cored, and thinly sliced
  • 3 tablespoons apple jelly
INSTRUCTIONS
Heat oven to 425°F (220°C).
On lightly floured surface, roll out pastry to 11-inch round; line a 10-inch tart pan with pastry. Lightly prick bottom with fork. Bake pastry 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Set aside.
Reduce oven heat to 375° (190°C).
In large bowl with electric mixer, beat sugar and butter until blended. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in 3 tablespoons lemon juice and the flour. Pour batter into prepared tart shell. Arrange apple slices over egg mixture. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until set.
Meanwhile, prepare glaze for tart: In small saucepan, combine remaining tablespoon lemon juice and the apple jelly. Cook over low heat, stirring, until jelly melts. Spoon glaze over warm tart. Cool completely before serving....and the dessert recipe of apple is ready to serve...enjoy it !

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 cup vanilla wafer crumbs
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup chopped macadamia nuts
  • 1 kiwi, sliced

INSTRUCTIONS
Combine vanilla wafer crumbs and melted butter; press onto the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Bake at 350°F (175°C) F for 10 minutes.
In a bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sugar, and milk, mixing at medium speed with an electric mixer until well blended. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in chopped macadamia nuts and pour over the crust.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) F for 45 minutes. Loosen the cake from the rim of the pan; cool before removing from the pan. Chill. Garnish the top with sliced kiwi. The dessert recipe is ready to serve...nice !

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 (8-ounce) container sour cream
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup non-dairy whipped topping
  • 1 (9-inch) graham cracker pie crust
  • 1/2 pint strawberries, hulled and sliced

INSTRUCTIONS
In a large mixing bowl beat cream cheese until softened; gradually add sugar. Blend in sour cream and vanilla until well mixed. Gently fold in non-dairy whipped topping, blending well.
Spoon into prepared graham cracker crust and chill. Garnish with sliced strawberries.
